Hamline Theatre’s devised adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein explored the roles of fear, romance, and violence in shaping human relationships. The show, heavily influenced by improvisational dance and Germanic expressionism, focused primarily on Victor Frankenstein's distorted, hyper-masculine view of the world and his ultimate journey from man to monster.

Using almost exclusively live-rendered camera-based video effects, the media design for this show expressed visually Victor's distorted perceptions of the world around him.
