Jackson is a designer, programmer, and teaching artist based in NYC.

They work in various capacities on and off Broadway, regionally, and internationally—creating and supporting media and projection design for live performance.

Credits include Once Upon a One More Time – Broadway (disguise programmer), Phish – Vegas Sphere (RenderStream programmer), Monsoon Wedding – Off-Broadway and International (disguise programmer), Peter Pan – National Tour (disguise programmer), and Thoughts of a Colored Man – Broadway (assistant projection designer).

Jackson has also worked extensively in Minneapolis, MN and Austin, TX, including at the Guthrie, Mixed Blood Theatre, Penumbra Theatre, ZACH Theatre, Vortex Rep, Freestyle Productions, and many others.

Jackson views design as a dramaturgical endeavor.

They believe every choice matters, and that every link in the chain—from content design to systems engineering—should contribute to storytelling. They implement design work using tools like disguise, RenderStream, WATCHOUT, TouchDesigner, Resolume, QLab, ETC Eos, After Effects, Unreal Engine and Vectorworks—but storytelling always comes first. Jackson also knows his way around a broadcast control room.

Jackson holds an M.F.A. in Live Design and Production (Integrated Media) from The University of Texas at Austin. They hold a B.A. in Digital Media Arts from Hamline University in Saint Paul, MN.

Jackson is a proud member of IATSE Associated Crafts and Technicians.
