Hamline’s production of Caryl Churchill’s Love and Information centered around the idea of “glimpsing toward connection.” In the process of exploring this overall concept, my own concept evolved into exploring the fragmented nature of connection—pieces of a larger whole almost fitting together, but not quite. 


To fulfill this larger concept, I generated static and moving imagery that aligned with the themes the director assigned to each chapter, giving audiences suggestions as to what the show’s vignettes actually “meant.” Because in the process of glimpsing toward connection, we’re always reaching, always searching, always guessing.
